A splash page is an image that appears when a game or program is loading. They are usually used to show the viewer that the program is being loaded and disappears when the screen is loaded.

Well... I feel like I still have a lot of work to do. I still need a lot more content on my pages and I have been having some trouble with getting it to look the way I want it to. I still have about four pages left but I need to go back and put more stuff on my other pages.

Over spring break my family, friends, and I went to St. Augustine beach in Florida. it was a pretty good trip, the weather could have been better but it was still nice to go somewhere. We drove there and did some things on the way up like camping and white water rafting(which was really fun!). over all it was a really fun trip and i so wish I was still there and not here:/ oh well.

I personally find brainstorming sheets annoying because I never end up actually doing what I plan. I like to change it up a lot and I never end up using most of the ideas on the sheet. To me, its just a waste of time.

I am kind of caught up but im still trying to figure out what I want to do and how I want my website to look. So many decisions! I kind of like having small checkpoints just so I know where I should be with all my work.

My idea for my website is to sell babysitters to parents who need someone to watch their child when their are gone. You can choose basically your dream babysitter on this cite. You can choose gender, characteristics, and age! I don't know I thought it was unique because I have never seen a cite like that before.

I have decided to feature Dog products for my product in web design. I decided to do that because there are a lot of different accesories that can come with pets so i though it would be an interesting thing to do and who doesnt like dogs!?

Three things I learned yesterday about color theory is things about color blindness,  color theme, and choosing colors for clients and how to organize them on a website. I thought the part on color blindness was very interesting and I did not really have any previous knowledge about it.

A color scheme draws the person in to want to be on the website more and explore it. If you have a really good color scheme more people will want to look at your website but if you have a really bad color scheme then it makes the cite look ugly and no one will want to be on the cite long.

What did you learn about file types as you created and designed your travel website? What are some other kinds of file types you know of? What do these different files do? Explain.

From the travel cite I learned the difference between PSD and PNG files and how important it is to know the difference in how you save something. You want to make sure and save things as a PSD first so you can go back and edit your pictures and make changes but when you are all done you have to save it as a PNG file.

I learned a lot about photoshop and how to create my own pictures and then use them in different ways on my website. Everything I learned I didn't already know how to do so I learned a lot of new things and this knowledge will help me make better websites in the future.

When trying to make a website as easy to use as possible, the creator should make sure that the links work well and are easy to use. The links also need to be visible enough so the person on the website can easily see them so they know how to correctly use the website.

 I did not go to sweetheart last weekend instead I hung out with friends and watched Netflix and went to a movie and stuff. On Saturday our basketball practice got cancelled so we had to have practice on Sunday. I also kind of watched the super bowl but then again not really...

             My all about me website is going to include stuff about my family, activities I do, my favorite things, and things on my bucket list. I chose those topics because those are the coolest stuff one would need to know about me and why not. I don't really have any BIG plans for my website, it will just kind of come to me.

 I think HTML code was surprisingly easy and it was not too difficult. I definitely feel like I learned some new and interesting things and i actually kind of liked it:)

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do? Elaborate!


 This weekend i did not do many things. On Saturday, I woke up at 7:15 sharp to make my way to basketball practice. I drove my dad's car to practice that morning and while I was at practice one of my teammates hit the car. Yikes!I spent the rest of the day laying in bed watching Netflix then finally came out of my room to watch another movie with my family and we ordered some delicious Chinese food! on Sunday, I woke up early again to go to church. Then at 5:00 I went back to church to volunteer as usual. After that, my team and I went to watch some competitive basketball games and went back to their house and played just dance and ate pizza. On Monday, I woke up at 10:30 am and later that evening had a basketball game. We lost :(. So that was the exciting life of Katie Stinson last weekend.

I somewhat agree with that statement, because if someone puts an image on like google or something, then yes i think you should be able to post it or use it but you should have to cite your source or somehow recognize that its not your image. otherwise I think that its okay to do that.

 Plagiarism is when you copy someone else's work when they have it copyrighted or something and its illegal to do. Plagiarism on the internet is like when you copy and paste something or take an image off the internet or copy word for word what something says. like when your writing an essay and you have to do research. you have to be careful not to steal/use someone else's ideas on the internet because it can be taken as plagiarizing.
